Melissa A. Mosel, MD, has been appointed assistant professor of pediatrics (emergency medicine) at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). She sees patients at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Board eligible in pediatrics, Dr. Mosel’s clinical interests include newborn care and breastfeeding, sports medicine and dermatologic conditions.
After earning her MD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Omaha, Neb., in 2009, Dr. Mosel completed her residency in pediatrics at MCW. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2005.
Dr. Mosel received the Crimson Feather Award in 2010 from MCW in recognition of her excellence as a pediatric intern hospitalist. She is also fluent in Spanish.
