Obstetrician and Gynecologist Julian De Lia joins Medical College of Wisconsin faculty, Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin staff
Julian E. De Lia, MD, FACOG, FACS, has been appointed professor of obstetrics and gynecology (maternal fetal medicine) at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). He sees patients at Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. De Lia is internationally recognized for his work in complicated multiple pregnancies and twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.
Prior to joining the MCW faculty, Dr. De Lia practiced at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – St. Joseph in Milwaukee. He previously served as an associate proffer at MCW and on the faculty at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the medical director for the International Institute for the Treatment of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome. He has been named by his peers as one of the pioneers of maternal-fetal surgery.
After earning his medical degree from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1972, Dr. De Lia completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.
