The six general otolaryngologists who comprise this Division provide a wide range of otolaryngologic diagnostic, procedural, and surgical services to both adults and children.
They see patients in the ENT clinics at Froedtert Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and the Greenway Medical Complex, and have staff privileges at Froedtert Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the Surgicenter of Greater Milwaukee, Froedtert Ambulatory Surgery Center, and at several private community hospitals.
They are all board-certified otolaryngologists and, in addition, Dr. Woodson is board-certified in sleep medicine. Cumulatively these five physicians have had 120 years of experience in clinical otolaryngology, both in private and academic practice.
Dr. Woodson is an internationally recognized authority on obstructive sleep apnea and sleep disorders. He is in high demand as a speaker, participant in courses and symposia, and his productivity in terms of publications and research is prodigious. In spite of his heavy research and travel schedule, he maintains a very busy clinical and surgical practice. Four members of this Division had established private practices in Milwaukee before being recruited to become full-time faculty members of the Department. All are active in patient care and teaching activities.
