Application and Selection Process

The pediatric fellowship of the Medical College of Wisconsin participates in the NRMP Pediatric Anesthesiology Match.  We are accepting either the Common Fellowships Application, available on the SPA website or the MCWAH application.

Required application documents include the following, which may be forwarded to the Fellowships Coordinator:

1. Common Fellowships Application
2. Personal Statement
3. Current Curriculum Vitae
4. 3 Letters of Recommendation
5. Copy of Medical School Diploma
6. Copy of USMLE scores

Interested applicants should plan to register for the NRMP match.  Please note the following:

1. Residents may submit either application form to us at any time.  We will accept forms electronically, via mail, or via fax.
2. Residents are free to interview at any other programs of interest until rank lists are due, and will NOT be asked for an early decision.  Please do not accept an interview date with us at MCW/CHW unless you intend to register for the NRMP match.
3. If you have interviewed with us and accept a position elsewhere outside the match, please a) withdraw from the match and b) notify us of your decision.
4. The NRMP match registration opens May 9, 2012.  Final ranking lists are due by September 19, 2012.  MATCH DAY 2012 is October 3, 2012.
