Residency Program Application Requirements for Match

US Medical Graduates

• Successful completion of USMLE with a score of 210 or better
  (Osteopathic applicants can not interview unless they have taken the USMLE with a score of 210 or better.)
• Dean's letter
• Three letters of recommendation in addition to Dean's letter
• Transcript
• Personal Statement
• ECFMG Certificate

Graduation within 3 years of medical school preferred.
 

Non-US Medical Graduates

• Graduation from medical school within the last 3 years
• US clinical experience preferred
  (Observerships do not meet this requirement)
• 220 or better USMLE Steps I & II within 1 attempts. Successful completion of Step III preferred by July start date. 
• Transcript
• Personal Statement
• ECFMG Certificate
• Visas: H-1 sponsorship may be available for outstanding candidates
• Three letters of recommendation from US clinical attending, one preferred by an Anesthesiologist.

ECFMG certification required prior to interview.

* Applications accepted via ERAS only. ERAS will be open for the 2010 Recruitment Season September 2009. We recommend applying as early as possible.  Deadline for applications is November 15, 2009. Interviews are conducted November 11, 2009 through January 31, 2010.
