Outside the Match Information

We will be accepting applications September 1-30, 2009 for 3-5 positions outside the match to begin July 1, 2010.  This applies to anyone interested in transferring into our program from another accredited training program for the coming year.  Applicants should have completed a PGY-1 year or be currently in a PGY-1 year.

We will need the following information in order to process your application:
(Usually the same info that is sent to ERAS when applying).

• CV and Personal Statement
  (to include current address and contact information in case we need addition information)
• Two letters of recommendation
• In-training exam scores (provide letter from program)
• USMLE scores (provide copies of scores)
• Dean's letter
• Medical School transcripts and grades and/or classrank
• Letter from current program director

We will evaluate applicants on paper and invite the most qualified candidates to interview the first week of November.  Invitations will be sent out the first week of October. We will make our decision at the end of January for the outside the match positions.
