How can I pay my bill?
Payment options: MCW accepts cash, personal check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards.
1. Online- www.mcw.edu/paymybill
2. By telephone- Call our Customer Service department at (414)955-4511 or 1-800-242-1649 to speak to one of our customer service representatives or to use our automated pay by phone system.
3. By mail- Send your payment with the top portion of our billing statement in the envelope that is provided.

Can I view my account balance online?
No. Online access to account information is not available at this time. If you have questions regarding your account balance, MCW Customer Service is available to assist you by phone Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 6:00pm and Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Call (414)955-4511 or 1-800-242-1649.
Why did I receive two bills; one from MCW and one from the hospital for the same date of service?
One bill is from the hospital and the other bill is from MCW. MCW bills for the professional services for their providers and the hospital bills for the technical/facility services.
Will you bill my health insurance?
The Medical College of Wisconsin billing office submits health insurance claim(s) on the patient’s behalf. We also submit claims to secondary insurance carriers once primary insurance benefits have been resolved.
Will my insurance cover services billed by MCW?
Please remember, the ultimate financial responsibility for payment lies with the patient, not the insurance company.

• Non-covered services: Clinics may require special payment arrangements.
• Patients without insurance should plan to pay a deposit. The amount of the deposit can be obtained by calling a Financial Counselor at (414)805-7072.
