Admissions

Our program expects all applicants to have a strong foundation in math and physics. The Magnetic Resonance Biophysics track of the program typically admits students with backgrounds in physics, mathematics, and engineering. However, the program also admits students with backgrounds in biology, psychology, and medicine. Quantitative and analytical GRE scores should be above average. Personal statements and letters of recommendation from professors or research supervisors who know you well are highly regarded in the admission process.

Applications are examined beginning February 1 for students entering the following August. We regularly admit three to five students per year.

We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions about our program:

Course Director: Dr. Neil Hogg

Recruitment Director: Dr. Candice Klug

Administrative Coordinator: Dr. Christopher Felix
