Gadolinium Use Screening Form
The MRI Safety Committee meets the second Thursday of each month. For more information, contact Chair Alan Bloom, abloom@mcw.edu, or Julie Peay, Director of MRI Safety Policies and Training, jpeay@mcw.edu.
The mission of the MRI Safety Committee (MRISC) is to foster an environment for the safe use of MRI in research at MCW. This mission is accomplished by conducting timely reviews of human participant and animal studies using MRI, providing the necessary safety training for researchers and staff, ensuring only trained and safety screened individuals have access to the magnetic environment, evaluating the safe use of accessory equipment in or around the magnetic environment, and serving as an available resource for investigators and others.
Below are links to the MRI forms on the eIRB application. Completion of the appropriate form (animal or human subjects) is required when using MRI for your research study.
