Keith J. Horvath, PhD
Associate Professor

khorvath@mcw.edu

Dr. Horvath’s primary area of study is the application of technology to develop and test primary and secondary HIV prevention interventions.  His research has advanced knowledge in the area of using online social support interventions to increase adherence to antiretroviral medications.  In addition, he has guided examinations of technology use among people living with HIV and their caregivers, as well as the exploration of HIV-related website development from the perspectives of website managers.  Dr. Horvath has primarily examined these factors among persons identifying as sexual minorities.
