Bead Artists Against Breast Cancer Silent & Live Auctions

Event was held Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, 2014, at the Bead&Button Show at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee

Bead Artists Against Breast Cancer will hold silent and live auctions at the 2014 Bead&Button Show, organized by Kalmbach Publishing Company and Bead&Button magazine.

Bead&Button Show logoSilent Auction:

  • June 6 & 7: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Will feature finished jewelry, artwork, lamp worked beads, and other items donated by vendors participating in the Bead&Button Show, the country's largest consumer bead show
  • Admission: $10 for adults; children 12 & under are free

Live Auction:

  • June 7: 7:30 – 11 p.m.
  • Held during the Bead Social and Auction Night
  • Will feature handmade beads, sculptural art glass, and other beautiful items that will be auctioned off during the evening
  • Includes coffee and cake, a cash bar, and many door prizes from Bead&Button Show exhibitors and faculty
  • Admission: $10

Proceeds from the event support breast cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.

Since 2006, this event has raised nearly $150,000 for breast cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
