KISS Cancer Goodbye Rock Spectacular
Saturday, November 16, 2013
The KISS Cancer Goodbye Rock Spectacular will be held Saturday, November 16, at Rooters Nightclub in Waukesha.
Enjoy an evening of high energy entertainment from Milwaukee’s KISS tribute band, “Dr. Love,” the regional touring act “Circleswitch” and the acoustic duo “Gabriel v2."
The evening will also feature a very special appearance by legendary guitarist/producer, Bob Kulick.
Bob co-wrote various KISS songs, and he played on three KISS albums. He also played on Paul Stanley's (of KISS) 1978 solo album and on his 1989 solo tour. In addition to his work with KISS, he has recorded and/or toured with Meat Loaf and Michael Bolton.
A minimum donation of $10 is required for admission to the event; tickets can be purchased at the door. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
The performances begin at 7 p.m., and a silent auction will be available.
The evening has been organized by veteran Milwaukee musician David Hartlerode, one of the four members of "Dr. Love." As a "super-tribute" band, Dr. Love captures the costumes, sound, lights, music and spectacle of a true KISS performance, entertaining both fans and the unindoctrinated.
