The MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc.) is the College's largest single donor, contributing nearly $36 million overall to the College’s pediatric cancer and blood disorder research efforts since its inception in 1976. The MACC Fund benefits from a variety of traditional funding sources with the majority of the income coming from special events. There are about 60 events or programs annually. These events or programs range from a variety of sporting events including the annual Bucks MACC Fund Game, the MACC Fund Golf Tour and the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Games, to Women for MACC programs, to grocery retail programs with Pepsi and the Balistreri Sendik’s Food Markets to TODAY'S TMJ4 programming to special family activities and much more. The MACC Fund supports research conducted in the 141,000 square foot MACC Fund Research Center of the Medical College of Wisconsin.
