Rock River HOG Chapter’s Ridin’ to a Cure Every year, on the last Saturday of September, the Rock River HOG Chapter of Oconomowoc WI, hosts a fund raiser motorcycle ride for breast cancer research. This ride is called Ridin’ to a Cure. On September 27th, 2008 the 14th annual Ridin' to a Cure event raised $285,000 with over 2,155 participants. Each year, the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center has the opportunity to apply for a portion of these funds for basic science research projects.
The 15th Annual Ridin' to a Cure will take place on Saturday, September 26th, 2009. Minimum pledge if $40.00. There will be a pre-registration party on Friday, September 25th from 6-10 pm at the Olympia Resort & Spa in Oconomowoc.
