Strikes for Hope Bowling Tournament
The 1st Annual Strikes for Hope Bowling Tournament was held on Saturday, February 7th at Brown Deer Lanes. This event was founded by a group of friends who have each been touched by cancer in some way. Their individual experiences inspired them to organize a golf outing three years ago to raise funds for cancer research. This year, they added a bowling tournament and it was a smashing success, raising over $8,000 for the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
