Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse
The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse was founded in 1998 as an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  Its mission is to support breast and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Since its founding, the Showhouse’s contributions to the Medical College of Wisconsin total $3.5 million. The Showhouse raises funds year-round through a variety of unique and exciting events. The center of these events is the Showhouse for a Cure. Dozens of local interior designers, landscape artists and artisans contribute substantial time, talent and furnishings to make each Showhouse spectacular.

The Smole Family Christmas Event

The Robert and Amalie Smole Family invites the public to share in their Christmas magic.  Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, Frosty, Rudolph, Elmo, and other cartoon characters while you enjoy cider and homemade cookies.  The Smoles have hosted this event in memory of their daughter, Donna Smole.
 

Cookbooks to benefit breast cancer research:
Bosom Buddies Cooking Together cookbooks are available for sale.  They are $20 each, and proceeds go to the Showhouse.  Contact Lynn Miller, Office of Development, at 955-5837.
