The MCW Cancer Center has allocated $150,000 to fund three projects ($50,000 each) in the areas of: Cancer Susceptibility & Chemoprevention; Cancer Cell Signaling & Metabolism; and Angiogenesis, Metastasis & the Tumor Microenvironment.
The overall goal of this RFA is to develop new collaborations between two or more members of the MCW Cancer Center. Principal investigators must be members of the Cancer Center or have an application pending review in order to be eligible for this funding opportunity.
All applicants must send a brief e-mail “Notice of Intent” by January 11, 2013 to cancer@mcw.edu. The notice must include the names of the PIs, application category and tentative project title. No narrative description of the project is needed.
The application deadline is Friday, February 1, 2013 (deadline to MCW Grants & Contracts is one week prior). Late proposals will not be accepted.
Funding of awards will be made with an intended April 1, 2013 start date.
