Cardiac Cath / Electrophysiology
• Residents will function as cardiology fellows. In the catheterization lab they will perform diagnostics and interventions. In the electrophysiology lab they will understand the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias and will learn insertion techniques for pacemaker and AICD devices.

Cardiology
• Inpatient adult cardiology service

Echocardiography / Cardiac Catheterization
• Education in performance and reading of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and introduction to cardiac catheterization

FH Cardiac Surgery
• Basic and complex adult cardiac surgery and adult congenital cardiac surgery

FH Thoracic Surgery
• Basic and complex adult general thoracic surgery

General Surgery I
• Adult general surgery service focusing on hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery

General Surgery II
• Adult general surgery focusing on open and laparoscopic esophageal, gastric, small bowel, and colorectal surgery

General Surgery III
• Adult general surgery focusing on breast and endocrine surgery

General Surgery – Acute Care Surgery
• Adult general surgery encompassing the entire spectrum of general surgery

Interventional Radiology
• Resident functions as the radiology fellow and participates in diagnostic and interventional procedures gaining the wire skill sets necessary for percutaneous interventions.

MICU
• Comprehensive critical care for medical and cardiothoracic surgery patients

Pediatric Cardiac Surgery
• Common and complex congenital cardiac surgery at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee

Pulmonary Medicine
• Inpatient pulmonary medicine consult service

Transplant Surgery
• Solid organ transplant surgery service

Trauma Surgery
• Trauma and emergency surgery at a Level 1 trauma center.

VA CardioThoracic
• Common and complex adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI

Vascular Surgery
• Adult vascular surgery focusing on open and endovascular techniques
