Dr. Morzinski completed his doctoral degree in Administrative Leadership in 1999 from the School of Urban Education at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Prior to earning this degree, Jeff worked for seven years with a comprehensive, rural mental health center, with roles as family counselor, community liaison, and clinical director.
Since joining the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1999, Jeff’s work has focused on developing and evaluating professional training and community health initiatives. These initiatives have included instructional design, adult learning, leadership, and mentoring. Jeff has presented his work regionally and nationally, and he has published over 40 papers and curricula on these topics. He directs the Department of Family and Community Medicine’s Professional Development Division, and the Center for Healthy Communities and Research.
Dr Morzinski’s current scholarly activities reflect ongoing interest in organizational systems, colleague and partnership networks, and the design and evaluation of community health education programs.
