Mary Brawley, MA, CCC-SLP
Program Manager and Speech-Language Pathologist
Center for Communication & Swallowing Disorders
Department of Otolaryngology & Communication Sciences

Mary Brawley is a licensed speech-language pathologist and credentialed endoscopist with over 30 years of experience in a variety of work settings, including private practice. After joining the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2001, Ms. Brawley identified head and neck cancer as her primary area of interest and worked to develop the program as the department coordinator. These efforts were recognized by industry, and she was given the opportunity to become the Clinical Manager for a company that develops and manufactures laryngectomoy supplies. Although the position afforded her professional growth, Ms. Brawley quickly realized that her heart and skills belonged in the clinic.

Ms. Brawley returned to the Medical College as the Program Manager, allowing her time needed for program development as well as for patient treatment. She is committed to quality care and feels fortunate that she can participate in the process from development to service delivery. Ms. Brawley truly cares about the people she serves.
