The Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin awarded MCW and Froedtert a $50,000 grant to study diastolic dysfunction and to identify biomarkers that could help with earlier diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Jennifer Strande (Medicine – Cardiology) is the primary investigator. Shama Mirza, PhD, (Biochemistry) is co-primary investigator.
