Dr. James Tweddell (Surgery – Cardiothoracic) led the MCW/Children’s component of a national study on the effectiveness of the Berlin Heart EXCOR Pediatric Ventricular Assist Device, reported in the August 9, 2012 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine.
