Oct. 2007 CVC UPBEAT - The American Heart Association (AHA) 2007 Metro Milwaukee Heart Walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, and begin at GE Healthcare in the Milwaukee County Research Park. Registration is at 9 a.m., and the opening ceremony is at 9:30 a.m.
The AHA supports research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Team captains, walkers and volunteers are needed. Any faculty, staff, or student who would like to sign up can register online at http://heartwalk.kintera.org/milwaukeewi.
The Love Monkeys will be playing at the event, and anyone who raises $100 or more will be eligible for prizes from the American Heart Association. The prize catalog can be viewed from the Walk Web site.
