Welcome from our Division Chief

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is committed to providing the best care possible to our patients, training the next generation of cardiovascular specialists and researchers, and performing leading research in cardiovascular disease.

The division's clinical program is designed to provide high caliber, comprehensive cardiovascular care to our patients.  We take great pride in our ability to apply contemporary methods of diagnosis and treatment for patients with cardiovascular problems, while maintaining a high level of personal involvement with the patient.

This is accomplished through our use of a care team that includes attending cardiologists, cardiology nurse practitioners, cardiac and vascular surgeons, and diagnostic and interventional radiologists. We are an integral part of the Medical College Physicians, the largest multispecialty group practice in Wisconsin, operated by the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Since we are members of an academic institution we are dedicated not only to excellence in patient care, but also the training of the next generation of cardiologists and medical research. The Medical College of Wisconsin is one of the fastest growing research medical institutions in the country having risen quickly to the upper ranks of US medical schools in terms of federal government funding of research. This environment allows us the opportunity to provide not only the best evidence based medical care, but also gives us access to leading edge research directed at improving patient care.
