Research:

Dr. Mandel conducts funded research on the epidemiology of urinary tract stone disease in the VA patient population. Her specific focus in on the correlation between stone composition, compositional variation with stone recurrence, sex, age, and ethnic associations with stone disease, and on the role and impact of medical and surgical management of stone disease.
