- Institution Review Boards (IRB)
- Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is authorized to perform research involving human subjects under a Multiple Project Assurance (MPA) Contract negotiated with the Office of Human Research Protection (OHRP) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This MPA contains the institutional policies and procedures for the conduct of research involving human subjects. The MCW Institution Review Boards (IRB) of the Office of Research, Technology, and Informatics are committed to ensuring that all research activities involving human subjects comply with the requirements of the MPA.
All research conducted by MCW faculty, residents, and students must be reviewed and approved by the principal investigator's affiliated institution prior to data collection for the project.
