The Sorokin Lab

 

Research in our laboratory is primarily focused on 1) understanding the role of endothelin signaling in hypertension induced nephropathy; 2) role of eicosanoids in regulation of cancer cell growth and resistance to apoptosis induced by chemotherapeutic agents; 3) elucidation of BK virus entry pathways and prevention of polyomavirus nephropathy after renal transplantation.
