The Working Condition/Fitness benefit will be increased to $1,250 for the 2008/09 academic year. This payment is intended to help defray expenses for license fees, DEA fees, license exam fees, textbooks and health club dues. This is a taxable benefit that is payable to housestaff on their June 30, 2009 paycheck. Housestaff who complete mid year, are paid a pro-rated amount on their last paycheck.
