Online Residency/Fellowship Registration Forms The Neurosurgery Residency Program director is a faculty member of the Department of Neurosurgery. Residents rotate through two or three of The Medical College of Wisconsin's 15 affiliated institutions. All residents receive comprehensive training, which prepares them for board certification in the specialty or subspecialty of their choice.
The Department of Neurosurgery accepts one resident per year. These residency positions are filled (through the National Residency Matching Program) with graduates from medical schools accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, or graduates who are certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. The residency program is accredited by the appropriate national Residency Review Committees. Registration forms for residency and fellowship positions are available online.
