Douglas R. Campbell, Senior Vice President at the Medical College of Wisconsin, has more than twenty five years experience in academic healthcare fiscal oversight and management. At the Medical College of Wisconsin, he provides financial leadership and direction for an institutional budget of $475 million.
Before joining the Medical College's administration in 1992, Campbell was Vice Chancellor of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. While there, he supervised the all non-academic functions within the health sciences center, and directed the purchase of a hospital for the university as well as the campus hospital reorganization.
He has also served as Deputy Dean for Finance and Management at the University of Chicago's Division of Biological Sciences, and Assistant Dean for Administration at the University of Wisconsin Medical School.
Campbell received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin Stout, and his Master of Science degree in Health Administration from the University of Colorado.
