THERADRIVE RELATED PROJECTS
1.
“
Position-Based Cueing Strategies for Bilateral
Robotic Assessment and Therapy After Stroke”
This project will use robotic techniques to study differences in arm movements for stroke. The assessment will evaluate handedness in healthy individuals by analyzing arm contribution in a bilateral target acquisition task.
2.
“
Mobile Robot Therapy System for Home Rehabilitation after Stroke”
This project is a hands-off assisted robot, embodying the various feature of therapy, integrated with novel home therapy system ‘TheraDrive’.
3.
“Development and Evaluation of Force-Based Strategies to Improve Bilateral Arm Used after Stroke”
The proposed study involves investigating the coordinated use of the upper extremities in able bodied participants as well as in stroke survivors during coupled and decoupled bimanual target acquisition tasks. The Theradrive system is modified into a bilateral steering system.
