Notice of Intent to Apply for Funding

A Notice of Intent form must be filed for all requests prior to submission of a full proposal.  The Notice of Intent process is currently closed. The next opportunity to apply will be in the fall of 2008.

Two funding categories are available:

A. 

Development Awards (maximum award of $50,000)
 
  • Planning activities related to the formation or development of a partnership, project or program;

  • Evaluation activities related to the assessment of a project or program; 

  • Implementation of capacity building strategies aimed at strengthening organizations, sectors, or systems; 

  • Pilot projects aimed at testing or demonstrating the feasibility of an idea; or,

  • Implementation of a project requiring $50,000 or less to be successful. 

     

B. 

Impact Awards (maximum award of $450,000)
 
  • Implementation of a health promotion or health-related prevention project, program and / or partnership with significant impact; or, 
     
  • Implementation of capacity building strategies that will have significant impact on a health-related organization, sector, or system.

Following a technical review of the Notice of Intent, applicants that successfully demonstrate partnership eligibility in accordance with Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program funding priorities will be invited to submit a full proposal.
