Congratulations

We would like to thank everyone who submitted grant proposals for the Injury Research Center's 2010 Seed Project Program.  Out of six excellent proposals received, the following three proposals were funded:

1) PI: Danny Thomas, MD, MPH - Department of Pediatrics
     Title: Effect of Early Rest on Recovery from Pediatric Concussion

2) PI: Cheryl Stucky, PhD - Department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy
     Title: Contribution of Muscle Injury Versus Nerve Injury

3) PI: Jiangye Zhang, PhD - Department of Neurosurgery
     Title: Establish an Animal Model for TBI
