Outpatient care is provided in the Froedtert & Medical College Cardiovascular Center on the third floor of the Froedtert East Building. Care is provided by 16 cardiologists and six advanced practice nurses. Four registered nurses, five medical assistants and 6 clerical staff serve our patients. Inpatient care is provided on 3NW where specialized cardiac nurses and telemetry (EKG) monitoring allows state of the art care. The cardiac intensive care unit is adjacent to 3NW and is similarly staffed by specialized cardiac care nurses in the setting of an array of specialize monitors. Diagnostic testing is performed in our clinical laboratories (cardiac catheterization, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac ultrasound and cardiac stress testing). Patients are potentially eligible to participate in a host of research studies.
