Medical College of Wisconsin Research Foundation

The primary objective of this interaction is the development of collaborative research & development, and transfer of medical advances into the commercial sector.

In FY 2006-2007, there were 46 new discoveries and inventions to the College's Office of Technology Development.  Nine new U.S. patent applications were filed.  The College currently has 215 pending and issued patents in the U.S. and foreign countries.  The College has launched 17 start-up companies and licensed technologies to 50 pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotechnology and medical device corporations.
