Camp M.A.S.H. is a 6 day camping experience for children 9-17 with the diagnosis of a Rheumatic Disease. The camping experience is held at a permanent Easter Seal Camping facility located in the Wisconsin Dells. Children/Adolescents in Wisconsin, Northern IL, and Minnesota are welcome and encouraged to attend. The Camp is staffed with a Board certified Pediatrician and 2 Rheumatology Nurse Practitioners as well as several staff nurses. The Camp is run by the Arthritis Foundation WI chapter with a strong affiliation with the Rheumatology staff at Children's Hospital of WI and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Lupus Education Day is a family centered educational opportunity for children/adolescents and family members afflicted with Lupus to learn about the disease process and treatment modalities.
Winter Family Fun Day is a yearly family centered educational day for Wisconsin families with a child/adolescent diagnosed with a Rheumatic Disease. This program provides educational programs as well as social functions for families who have a child/adolescent with a Rheumatic Disease. The program is sponsored by the Wisconsin Arthritis Foundation in collaboration with the staff at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
