The Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin is based at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin/Medical College of Wisconsin. The Neonatologists work together in providing comprehensive care for critically ill newborns and their families with the ultimate goal of improving neonatal care to enable these tiniest of patients to live healthy and productive lives. At the present time, their clinical services include seven hospitals: Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital, Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Victory/St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan, and affiliation at Aurora BayCare Hospital in Green Bay. Dr. G. Ganesh Konduri is the Chief of the Division and the Director of the Neonatology Fellowship Program, along with Dr. Olivia Kim as the newly appointed Associate Director of the Fellowship Program. Dr. Michael Uhing is the Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ruth Rademacher is the Medial Director for the Newborn Nursery at Froedtert Hospital. Dr. Steven Leuthner is the Medical Director for the Special Care Nursery at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and also serves as Co-Director for the Fetal Concerns Program at Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Carey Ehlert is the Medical Director of Newborn Service at Community Memorial Hospital. Drs. Erwin Cabacungan and Joyce Turley are Co-Directors of Newborn Care at Victory/St. Therese Medical Center. The current roster of faculty includes 13 neonatologists based in the primary division office, 2 full-time and 1 part-time pediatrician, 2 off-site neonatologists, and 2 additional neonatologists that rotate through the NICU despite other significant commitments in the Department of Pediatrics. In addition to clinical faculty, there are also 2 research nurses located within the division.
