The History of Medicine Center has two parts: 1) the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine History of Medicine Room, which serves as a conference room and classroom and 2) the History of Medicine Archives Vault, which is an environmentally controlled room that has a stack capacity of 22,000 volumes. The MCW Archives, the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine collection, and the History of Medicine collection are housed in the vault. Special rules apply to the use of these collections.
