Palliative medicine specialist Dr. Sean Marks joins College faculty, Froedtert staff
July 24, 2008 College News
- Sean Marks, MD, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine in the division of
Neoplastic Diseases and Related Disorders
at the Medical College and to the medical staff of Froedtert Hospital. Board-certified in internal medicine, his clinical interests include palliative medicine, which is medical care that is focused on relieving disease symptoms.
Dr. Marks completed a palliative medicine fellowship at the Medical College earlier this year. He served an internal medicine residency at Case Western University in Cleveland in 2007. His research interests include investigating the palliative care needs of HIV patients.
He received his medical degree from the Medical College in 2004, and his bachelor of science degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1999.
