Oct. 7, 2008 College News - In honor of October being National Medical Librarians Month, Medical College of Wisconsin Library staff are the Resource of the Month.
MCW Library staff provide a variety of services to support the mission of the College including: • Onsite literature searches during clinical rounds • Classes on databases and the Web Content Management System • Curriculum and ANGEL e-learning support • Host and maintain InfoScope • Design and maintain department Web pages • Manage more than 12,000 links to full-text resources from databases, the E-Journals list and the online catalog • Interlibrary loan and document delivery • Manuscript and grant application references verification • Assistance and guidance to investigators in complying with the recent NIH Public Access Policy • Education and the Help Desk for the Faculty Collaboration Database • Community outreach For more information, contact the Medical College Libraries, 456-8302 or asklib@mcw.edu.
