Dr. Tassone joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2001. He then went on to do his Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas, completing that in 2002 before joining the team at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Tassone obtained his bachelor degree in Religion/Ethics from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, in 1992. Continuing on, he obtained his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Washington, School of Medicine, Seattle, Washington, in 1996, in which he graduated with honors. He presently belongs to the Wisconsin Orthopaedic Society.
His clinical interests span the breadth of pediatric orthopaedic problems, and he has a particular interest in scoliosis, cerebral palsy, and pediatric hip pathology. His research on scoliosis, developmental dislocation of the hip and the arthrogrypotic clubfoot have been presented at national meetings.
