Center for Ambulatory Teaching Excellence (CATE)

CATE is a non-profit center to aid faculty in publishing and distributing materials. CATE enhances teaching in Ambulatory Medicine through the development of innovative instructional programs; applied research in ambulatory-based medical education; and publication of educational materials.

Faculty Development for Community Preceptors: ExCEED

ExCEED (Excellence in Clinical Education, Exchange, and Development) is a Faculty Development Program for Volunteer Community Preceptors focusing on developing and sustaining excellence in community and volunteer faculty teaching.

The Docere Fellowship Program

A two year, five module career building fellowship for MCW faculty. Fellows will commit to meet the third Tuesday of the month from 1:30 – 5:30 pm beginning October 16, 2007. Coaching on projects will be provided by members of MCW's Society of Teaching Scholars.

Faculty Development: ExCEL

ExCEL (Excellence in Clinical Education and Leadership) participants complete a series of semester-long modules focused on teaching and technology; curriculum development; measurement and evaluation; and educational leadership and scholarship. Each module requires completion of a project aligned with their respective division and departmental priorities.
