Carol Galletly, JD, PhD
Assistant Professor
cgalletl@mcw.edu
Dr. Galletly is primarily interested in the intersection of individual behavior, public health policy, and the law. She applies empirical methods and findings to address critical questions faced by policymakers in HIV prevention and public health. Her research also evaluates the impact of legislation on individual risk behavior, such as criminal laws requiring HIV positive serostatus disclosure to sex partners. Dr. Galletly's work also tests assumptions upon which public health policy is built, such as HIV-related stigma.
