Steven D. Pinkerton, PhD
Professor; Director, CAIR Cost-Effectiveness Studies Core; Director, CAIR Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program
pinkrton@mcw.edu
Dr. Pinkerton's primary area of specialization is the use of mathematical models to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of HIV/STD prevention interventions and to examine the interrelationships between behavior change, risk of infection, and behavioral assessment. He also has conducted basic human sexuality research and is interested in sex-related decision making.
