Dr. Somlai's research interests include international and domestic dissemination and technology transfer of effective HIV prevention programs to ASOs and NGOs; HIV prevention for vulnerable community populations including the homeless, persons with severe mental illness, and drug users; evaluation methodologies of HIV intervention programs; and the spiritual needs and religious impact of living with HIV and AIDS.
