RESIDENCY INTERVIEW DATES AND INFORMATION
The dates for resident interviews in 2009 and 2010 are listed below and occur on Fridays. We may add dates if necessary.
November 6, 2009
November 20, 2009
December 4, 2009
December 11, 2009
January 8, 2010
Resident candidates should arrive by 6 pm on Thursday evening before the day of their interviews. We will provide a reception at the Doubletree Hotel Milwaukee/Brookfield on Thursday from 6 pm until 9 pm, during which time you will be able to meet and talk with our current residents. This gives prospective candidates the opportunity to discuss how our program works with the people who have the greatest insights and experiences — our residents. This is a casual event, so attire should be business casual.
We arranged for you to receive the Medical College of Wisconsin discounted rate of $104 per night at the Doubletree Hotel Milwaukee/Brookfield, 18155 W. Bluemound Road, Brookfield, WI, (262) 792-1212. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the Mitchell International airport, the Milwaukee airport into which you will fly. If you take the train from Chicago, there are ample taxicabs available at the train station.
On Friday, the day of the interview, a shuttle will take you at approximately 7:30 am from the hotel to the Medical College of Wisconsin for your interviews, returning you at the end of the day around 3:00 pm.
We are excited to host your visit and give you the opportunity to see what we have to offer. We are confident that you will bring away a positive impression of our department and we hope what you find will stimulate an interest in joining our residency program.
