The Cardiovascular Golf Challenge To Benefit Cardiovascular Research At the Medical College of Wisconsin July 28, 2008 Chenequa Country Club
This year’s tournament will be held at beautiful Chenequa Country Club on July 28, 2008 and celebrates the 10th Year of the CVC Golf Challenge.
The philanthropic support generated by the golf tournament enables scientists to start and continue promising research. Research is critically important to patient care because it speeds discoveries from the laboratory to those who suffer from disease and injury in the form of new treatments, products, preventions and cures.
Cardiovascular research is a strategic priority of the Medical College and an area where the Medical College excels nationally. More than 190 physicians and scientists from 23 departments at the Medical College are united in the search to prevent and treat heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Significant progress in heart care has been achieved over the years, though there is still much to be understood. Every day, the Medical College’s researchers are at work seeking to find cardiovascular disease cures and improved treatments for current and future generations.
