Patient Care Emphases (Ages 18+):

Electrolyte, acid base and calcium disorders, Elevated Serum Creatinine or Low GFR (CKD), Glomerulonephritis, Proteinuria / hematuria, Diabetic Kidney Disease (Nephropathy), Cystic disease of the kidney, Pregnancy and Kidney Disease, Transplant Management.

 

Research interests include clinical trials in renal transplantation including newer immunosuppressive agents and investigation to optimize long-term renal transplant survival. Another research interest of Dr. Bresnahan is delaying the progression of renal disease in Diabetic Nephropathy.
