MCW Faculty are eligible for funding to support innovative educational projects for undergraduate medical education through the Learning Resources Fund of the Curriculum and Evaluation Committee. OES staff serve as consultants to the CEC and manage the proposal calls that go out three times each academic year--Fall, Winter, and Spring, advise faculty on development and revision of proposals, and provide final notification.

Learning Resource Fund proposals are generally 2-5 pages in length, plus a cover letter, a letter of support from the Department Chair, and a budget worksheet. NOTE: Funding requests for major innovations over $5,000 must include a cost sharing agreement signed by the department chair or appropriate administrative officer. Address proposals to The Executive Committee of the CEC mail to the attention of Sheri Galewski, Office of Educational Services Medical College of Wisconsin, Medical Education Building by 5 pm on the deadline date. Proposals may be submitted electronically by attaching them to an e-mail to sgalewsk@mcw.edu EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE- if any hardware or software is purchased from this grant, it is inventoried by Educational Services. You may request to have this equipment on permanent loan to your department, however when the equipment is not in use it may be borrowed to another department for undergraduate medical student education use.
