The secured
Adult TRU
is located in close proximity to the main entranceway of the Pavilion building of Froedtert Hospital. The unit, which is staffed by 4 research nurses, includes 6 examination rooms for outpatient visits and 6 beds in 3 study suites (one-half of one suite is the designated Body Composition Area). When overnight monitoring and/or sample collections are required, inpatients are housed on an inpatient unit on the 4
th
floor of the Pavilion Building, directly above the TRU Adult Unit. The Adult Unit is supported by a nursing planning station, reception area, metabolic kitchen, consultation room (where nurses and physicians meet), soiled hold and cleaning rooms, and a supply room. A sample preparation area is located adjacent to the nursing planning station.
