    CTSI Adult TRU

     

     
    The secured Adult TRU is located in close proximity to the main entranceway of the Pavilion building of Froedtert Hospital. The unit, which is staffed by 4 research nurses, includes 6 examination rooms for outpatient visits and 6 beds in 3 study suites (one-half of one suite is the designated Body Composition Area). When overnight monitoring and/or sample collections are required, inpatients are housed on an inpatient unit on the 4th floor of the Pavilion Building, directly above the TRU Adult Unit. The Adult Unit is supported by a nursing planning station, reception area, metabolic kitchen, consultation room (where nurses and physicians meet), soiled hold and cleaning rooms, and a supply room. A sample preparation area is located adjacent to the nursing planning station.
